Breast cancer has changed over the past 30 years, and so have we.

On Mother’s Day, as part of our Race to Empower™ and Walk to Empower™ events held across the country, we formally announced that our new name is Breast Cancer Network of Strength™. This exciting change kicks off our 30th Anniversary year. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same -- to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Breast Cancer Network of Strength is pleased to announce that the 2008 Mother's Day Events welcomed over 50,000 participants with donations nearing $9 million -- and we are still counting! Even cloudy skies couldn't keep over 1,000 participants away on Mother's Day for the second annual Walk to Empower in Cleveland!  Thank you for helping Breast Cancer Network of Strength ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone!
